I can’t say that I have given this much thought – and maybe I’ll sorely regret it… But I think I want to take a short break from my blog.
I know – that does NOT sound like me…
But as I’m sitting here writing this I’m feeling such peace and joyful calm.
The last 2 blog posts named “Love Stuck” are actually depicting true events. Names have been changed “to protect the innocent” – ha ha… and I truly can’t wait to see what the Lord really does have on His heart for “Joy” and I. If anything at all…
But the posts sparked my imagination and I’m thinking that I’d like to give it a go.
It, being actually write the novel.
I have no idea if I can master doing it, but I’d like to try.
Prayers, hints, advice and good ideas are all very welcomed.
And… I’ll probably stay updated on the blog so I won’t be completely vanished, just perhaps “out of order” for a bit.
Thank you for loving me.
Enjoy your blogging break and have a Merry Christmas! ๐
I’m writing in the same genre as you – Christian fiction; except mine is aimed at children and young adults. I wrote 50,000 words of my last novel last month for NaNoWriMo – National Novel Writing Month. I’m not published or anything yet, but it is so much fun to write. And I love to read Christian fiction. Your last two posts were amazing. โค Have fun writing your novel! You have a great start! ๐

Aw, thank you โบ๏ธ that means so much to me!
Congratulations- writing 50,000 words in one month is pretty cool! I donโt think I can do that. Iโve got too many distractions I think.

Aww, haha, I understand. But I'm sure it will be amazing, however long it takes for you to finish it. โค

If you have the motivation to do it, I say go ahead. I’ve written two novels and two screenplays. One of those was read by Dolly Parton’s Sandollar Productions years ago. Sooo, if you’d like to dialogue on what I know about writing, let me know.

Seriously? Iโd love to! Thank you.
The beginning of my novel are the two โLove Stuckโ posts on my blog. Iโve written some since and have a plot in mind. Itโs literary fiction and I want to circle around God. Thatโs how far Iโve come… suggestions? Advice? Would love some!

I took a couple of months off last year. It is good to back off social media and refresh. Blessings.

I feel inadequate to answer considering I’m not a “bookworm” or a “reader” compared to most. And the books I have read lately of Leslie Ludy were 4 of her books regarding being Set Apart series.

I suppose I’m wondering how big a market there is for Christian fiction, such as Francine Rivers’ book series.
There are an abundance of non-fiction Christian this and that – it’s almost like the self-help book section and I wondered if fiction had a section too… and who the authors would be. Not to worry, I’m sure I’ll find out one way or another if the Lord will bless my writing. Love

There is absolutely a market. Matter if fact, I have a new WP friend who is a non-fiction writer. Maybe you check out her page or ask her advice. What I’ve read of her so far is so touching.
