I’m done with my favorite author’s latest book: Lysa TerKeurst and “uninvited” … chapter 15, 16 and the bonus chapter are amazing. Honest truth about hurts and pains, feeling rejected and unloved and how Lord Jesus can enter our pains. Simply put: great chapters and Lysa at her best.
The rest of the book… well, not so much to my liking though I fully admit that I think a lot of girls out there might love it. I find it hard to relate to all the rejection she describes. Not that I haven’t been rejected. Her other book, though, “unglued” pretty much nailed me down to an art and is a permanent member on my bookshelf!
It just goes to show that Lysa is an author able to reach many women in all situations across all spheres of life on earth.
Love the review- definitely adding to my TBR 🙂 P.S. Hope you check out my debut novel- The Waiting Room!

Definitely. Especially if you tend to get anxious, Unglued is great and has a lot of humor in it too. Uninvited is a good book, don’t get me wrong. Blessings and happy reading!

I’m currently reading it, and believe me, she wrote that under God’s lead, it just disarms the enemy!

Sorry, I’ve been a bit off lately. A lot going on but despite busy, I’m getting back to my blogs (got 2) now… and yes, I have been reading ;-).
How was the hurricane..? Blessings

Windy and intense for a first hurricane for my my husband, and myself since I was a child. We made it through without any significant damage so we feel thankful and blessed. Glad your back on 🙂

I’ll have to add that to my “need to read” list… I haven’t actually read any of her books but I was able to hear her speak at a conference a few years back. But the title does hit a bit of a tender spot for me. 😉

The title did hit a tender spot for me too, but the content of the book honestly doesn’t. However, the last couple of chapters is basically worth the whole book 😉
My personal favorite is still “Unglued”!
