Not just love

To bring peace to tormented and beyond-rescue sinners. 2000 years ago, yesterday, TODAY, tomorrow and in the future:

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:5-6

That’s why He came, lived, taught, died and rose again. Because there is no way we can save ourselves. No matter what we have done or what we will do. No matter how we have sinned; God still LOVES us.

That’s why He came. To save us. That’s how much God loves us. You. Me! Take it in for a moment and remember the cross, the pain, the humiliation, the blood, the scars, the beatings. It was ugly. That’s how much God loves each person. Not just “love”, but the purest love imaginable and beyond.

As Resurrection Sunday approached, all God is asking is this: Can you love Him back?

Rejoice in the Lord and Trust His plan.

      1. Ah thank you!!! My dad is very sick and I’m not sure when we have to fly out… so it may take me a while to do this, but his condition can still change to the better for while. Can I copy some of the text from your post?
